27 Year Old Zach Makes a Crazy Change (BHAM)

I remember my first phone call with Zach a little more than 3 months ago.
"I've been a runner for most of my life. I still run regularly today. But my physique is stuck. I'm really interested in building some muscle and losing some fat. And I know strength training is going to be key to get there."
After I thought I understood what he wanted, I gave him a summary of what we talked about. Basically he wants to add Strength Training and dial in his diet so he can build some muscle and lose some fat.
Cool, no problem. We can definitely do that.
But at the close of the call, and in a few of the following conversations, he decided to be totally honest...
"Nate, I know I said I want to build muscle and lose fat. But to be honest I want to get ripped."
Aha! The truth!
I said something to the effect of...."Let's do it man!"
And boy did he do it. He did it. He did it big.
But the crazy thing is he did it way faster than I expected.
I knew he could succeed. I didn't know just how QUICKLY he would succeed.
And this is only the beginning.

I'd say Zach is officially ripped. But just to be safe...he's going to drop about another 5 pounds. Then we'll maintain. And THEN we'll focus on a muscle building phase. (Though, you have to admit his gains in muscle have already been impressive.)
I share all this for 2 reasons.
First, I want to brag Zach up a bit. He deserves it. He's worked super hard, has been very consistent, and is reaping the rewards. And he's a ton of fun to work with!
But second, and more importantly, I share this so you know what's possible for you!
Guys. Especially you young guys in your 20's and 30's....you have no earthly idea how strong you can be. How fit and lean and healthy you can be.
The robust response that young men have in response to strength training and a good diet is unmatched. No other part of the population responds as quickly and powerfully as you do.
If you're a young man in your 20's and 30's, no matter who you are or how much extra weight you're carrying or how weak you think you are, or how bad your genetics are....you are sitting on gold. All you have to do is get to work. And specifically get to work on the right things.
If you want to get shredded like Zach...let's do it.
If you want to get strong as an ox...let's do it.
If you want to get healthy for life...let's do it.
If you want to drop 50 pounds...let's do it.
If you want to do all of the above...LET'S DO IT!!
