You've Been Lied to About Getting Healthy and Fit

They're lying to you about how to get healthy and fit.

If more knowledge was the key to getting healthy and fit, we'd all be healthy and fit.

There is no shortage of information out there.

And yet it seems we're getting sicker, fatter, and weaker.

So what gives?

Just like our diets, there is too much low quality information.

Too much NOISE!

It's LOUD in the fitness industry.

Shhhhh....

Sit down, tune out the noise, and listen to me. I'm going to tell you exactly what you need to get healthy and fit.

I'm going to tell you the handful of things you need to focus on, and possibly more important, I'm going to tell you ALLLLL the things you need to NOT focus on.

The problem is, if you've been trying to get healthy, strong, and lean for any length of time with little to no results to show for it....you've been focusing on the wrong thing.

You aren't lazy. You aren't a failure. You aren't broken. You've just been confused.

You've been lied to.

For the next 3 months I want you to do the following, and watch with amazement as your body, health, and lifestyle changes in incredible ways.

  1. Strength Train 2-4 Days Per Week

  2. Get 6,000+ Steps In Every Day

  3. Set and Hit a Minimum Protein Goal Every Day

  4. Set a Calorie Range and Stay Within That Range Every Day

  5. Sleep 7+ Hours Every Night

  6. Stay Hydrated

  7. Have FUN!!!

  8. Ignore Everything Else

Now if you do everything on that list exactly as written every single day with zero exceptions your results will be crazy fast. And if you're in the mental headspace to do that, I saw go for it! Nothing wrong with aiming for perfection.

Like they say, shoot for the moon and land among the stars.

That's the mindset I had when I was in my early 20's in college with very little responsibility. If you can, and you want to, you should!!

BUT if you're anything like me today...a husband, father of 4 little ones, busy business owner who doesn't get as much sleep as he should...Aim to hit these targets 60%, 70%, 80% of the time instead of 100%.

Of course hitting the targets 100% of the time is going to get you the best results. But hitting them even just 60% of the time will STILL get you where you want to go. It's just going to take a little longer.

But does that really matter?

If it takes you 3 years instead of 1 year to reach your goals but the plan was practical, enjoyable, and sustainable along the way AND you're going to live for 20, 30, 40, 50+ more years...what's the difference between 1 year and 3 years?

Not much.

Tortoise and the Hare anyone?

I guess this goes to show when you're young and healthy and hungry for a change, you can typically get there faster there faster than someone older with more responsibilities.

BUT you should just be honest about your goals, your current situation, and get to your destination as quickly as YOU can.

The important thing is not how quickly you get there, but that you DO get there. And that you enjoy it. So you can sustain it.

If you're ready to ditch quick fixes, fad diets, crazy workout plans, and anything else that just isn't working for you...and you're ready to follow a simple, fun, and sustainable plan...

Let's Talk!

We coach dozens of clients through this change every day. And I'd love for you to be next!
